Town's reserve coach Dale Roberts has vowed to beat Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of cancer which affects glands related to the immune system. The 45-year-old was diagnosed recently and now faces six months of chemotherapy and radio therapy.

Ulrich Le Pen and Tommy Miller both limped off as the reserves lost 1-0 to Charlton at Portman Road last night. However, the Frenchman merely has a dead-leg and will be OK for Saturday while Miller appeared to have an ankle problem.

In a surprise move Town have announced the return of Bryan Hamilton, as a first team coach alongside Tony Mowbray. Hamilton's return may prove controversial after his recent spell as manager at Norwich. The former Northern Ireland, Tranmere, Wigan and Leicester manager was present at Town's game last night and will start in his new position immediately, traveling with the Town party to Middlesbrough tomorrow.

Sir Alf Ramsey's medals have gone on display at Christie's today along with other memorabilia. International caps, his championship medals won as a player as well as Town's manager and, of course, mementoes from the 1966 World Cup.
